wearable pieces of art

wearable art

ever since i was a little girl, i loved to collect jewelry (among all pretty designed things) . not always to wear, but to just pull out every once in a while to play with, decorate with + then put back away in a safe place. and well, not much has changed.  it does not always need to be something precious, thrift store finds are just fine, too. i like to visit a thrift store with each city i visit to find a new piece of jewelry. they also serve as great pieces of inspiration for design, don’t you think? see how i used neckaces to hang feathers, here.

i’ve found a few of my fav pieces from around the web to share from a new fav designer, maya brenner; mark & graham, the new sister company to west elm, pottery barn, etc.;  layla grayce;  + aha life, a great site of different peoples curations.  how nice would each of these look in your little tray on your dresser, or hanging just above on your wall?
